It is that time of year again! We are excited to start the planning on the PA Fall Classic.

Breeders are bringing lots that will turn heads and give their program a good reputation – which is why the sale continues to increase it’s average year after year. It will be Saturday, October 23rd at the Greene County Fairgrounds in Waynesburg PA.

Note: Before entries will be considered, each consignor must be a current paid member of the PSA/PJSA. PSA membership is $40 and the membership year is the 2021 calendar year, starting Jan.1, 2021. Your membership fee must accompany your nomination fee (in a separate check made out to PSA) and mailed to Classic Sales.

Nominations are due September 1st. Nomination fee of $50/ nomination is due Sept 1, as well.

All animals must be registered at time of consignment and will need to be listed free of genetic defects in the ASA database. Keep in mind this process can take several weeks to complete and should be started before consigning. Please send your high resolution pictures by Sept 1st. We need pictures for ads as well as the catalog. Please refrain from photoshopping your animals in the pictures. We want to keep the integrity of the sale and each of our programs. Pictures are not guaranteed to be published.

Fall Sale Banquet

Also, we have an exciting event this year!

The PSA will be sponsoring a banquet on Friday night for consignors and perspective buyers. It will be held at the fairgrounds.

Speakers for the evening banquet will be:

• Lowell Midla will be speaking on various beef vaccinations and health issues.

• Chris Brown, sale manage, will speak on what buyers like to see in our cattle to make them sell.

Meal and refreshments provided by the Pennsylvania Simmental Association.
